Please review this document carefully before engaging in any session.
Participation in The Humming Rooms sessions, including breathwork and guided meditation, is entirely voluntary. You understand that you are engaging in these activities at your own discretion.
By taking part in any session, you accept full responsibility for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. You acknowledge that breathwork and guided meditation may have varying effects on individuals and agree to release and hold harmless The Humming Rooms and its facilitators from any claims, liabilities, or demands arising from your participation.
The Humming Rooms’ practices are designed to promote relaxation and mindfulness but are not a substitute for medical or psychological care. If you have a pre-existing medical condition or any concerns about your health, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating.
By continuing to access and participate in sessions, you waive any present or future claims against The Humming Rooms or its facilitators related to your participation. This waiver applies to any potential risks, including but not limited to discomfort, dizziness, or emotional responses that may arise.
Your agreement to these terms constitutes a full and unconditional release of liability to the maximum extent permitted by law in the United Kingdom.
Breathwork and guided relaxation exercises may not be suitable for individuals with the following conditions. Please consult your doctor before participating if you have:
Pregnancy (especially first trimester)
Epilepsy or seizures
Severe anxiety, depression, or other serious mental health conditions
High blood pressure or cardiovascular disease
Respiratory conditions or infections
Osteoporosis
Recent surgery or injury
History of aneurysms
Any condition for which you take regular medication
If at any point you feel discomfort, dizziness, or distress, you should stop immediately and seek appropriate medical attention if necessary.
To ensure your safety, please follow these guidelines:
Do not engage in breathwork while driving, in water, or when operating machinery.
Practice in a comfortable, quiet space where you can remain undisturbed.
If you experience discomfort, reduce intensity or stop as needed.
Breath retention (holding the breath) and certain breathwork techniques involving abdominal engagement are not recommended for pregnant individuals, those with cardiovascular conditions, or those prone to fainting or dizziness. If you are pregnant or postpartum, it is advised to focus on natural, gentle breathing instead.
Individuals who are neurodiverse or managing mental health conditions may find breathwork beneficial but should proceed at their own pace. If you have concerns, please consult a healthcare provider before beginning a breathwork practice.
By attending a session, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own well-being and agree to the terms outlined above. If you do not accept these terms, please refrain from participating in The Humming Rooms sessions.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out before your session.
